The Making of the Manchester Pan-African Congress

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the famous Manchester Pan-African Congress, arguably the most significant of all the major Pan-African gatherings.' Its participants included W.E.B.Du Bois, Amy Ashwood Garvey, Jomo Kenyatta, Kwame Nkrumah and George Padmore. Hakim Adi reflects on the past, present and   future in the making of this historic event.
