Personal information:	W G G fellow  Sommersemester 2016 Dominique Connan did two PhDs, one in Politics (Paris 1, 2014) and another one in History (European University Institute, Florence, 2015), investigating elite formation in Kenya through the study of social clubs. At the time he was a visiting fellow in Bayreuth, he was teaching politics at the University of Nice.
