Personal information:	Dr. Henry Kam Kah is a senior lecturer of History at the University of Buea in the South West Region of Cameroon and researches on globalization, conflict, culture, governance, popular culture, civil society, gender and security. He has published several scholarly papers in peer reviewed journals in Cameroon and abroad, book chapters and attended several international symposia, workshops, seminars and conferences where he has presented papers on a wide range of issues. He is a member of scholarly groupings which include the American Political Science Association (APSA), the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA), the West African Research Association (WARA), the Pan African Anthropologists Association (PAAA), the African Politics Contact Group (APCG) and the Association of Friends of the Archives and Antiquities Cameroon (AFAAC). Dr Kah is also associate research fellow of the Institute of African Studies, University of Ibadan, Ibadan Nigeria.
