Personal information:	Dr. Samuli Schielke is a research fellow at Zentrum Moderner Orient (ZMO), Berlin and head of the research group “I search of Europe: Considering the possible in Africa and the Middle East”. His research focusses on everyday religiosity and morality, aspiration and frustration, and literary and creative trajectories in contemporary Egypt. At the Academy, he gave a lecture as part of the Postdoc Working Group "Waiting for Futures".
