Personal information:	Jason Musyoka is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Pretoria’s Human Economy Programme, and a member of the Advisory Board, the Centre for the Advancement of Scholarship. He holds a Ph.D from the University of KwaZulu Natal South Africa. His PhD thesis (completed in 2016) focused on new perspectives on wealth distribution among black South Africans. He also holds a Masters in Development studies from the University Of KwaZulu Natal South Africa. At the University of Pretoria where he is currently based, he continue s to undertake academic research and publications. He lectures development studies module in the honours programme, at the Anthropology department (University of Pretoria). He is also an external examiner and co-supervisor at the University of KwaZulu Natal’s Graduate School of Business and the Graduate School of Government Leadership, University of the Northwest. He has been a guest lecturer (Masters) on Regional and Local Economic Development, the Graduate School of Business and Leadership, University of KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. He is also a regular Radio commentator on current affairs, and a regular analysis contributor to print media.
